Fantasy Doubles (Sunday)
Nota bene Entries close July 31 2005. Maximum 10 teams.
What you need
- A copy of the Gamesworkshop Fantasy Doubles Rules Pack - available on the web or ask for details
- A partner and a NAME FOR YOUR TEAM
- A Warhammer Fantasy force of 500 points each
- All your Warhammer paraphanalia
Each person's 500 point army MUST comply with the rules set out for doubles
tournaments.
In summary:
- Each person has a 500 maximum force (each team therefore has a combined force of 1000)
- Only 1 hero allowed (no lords and no army standard bearers)
- At least 2 units but no more than 4 units allowed
- At least 1 core unit
- Only 1 special OR rare unit allowed
- At least 1 infantry unit of 10+ models
- No unit larger than 25 models
- No magic standards
- No single model may cost more than 125 points
- Only 1 chariot is allowed (even if more are allowed for a single choice)
There are a few exceptions to these rules and you should consult the rules pack or the organiser for details.
In addition, there are strict rules governing which armies are allowed to form alliances and team up. Please consult the rules pack or the organisers.
Table Mountain Dragons will provide tables, table clothes and scenery for the tournament. The number of game will depend on the number of entrants. The tournament will be overseen by Wayne Buys of Table Mountain Dragons.
