Disaster has struck and luxury space travel may never be the same again. In the early hours of this morning, the most luxurious space liner of all time, the ESS Titanica, ran afoul of an unexpected anomaly in the space-time continuum three hours before reaching its destination, Alpha Centauri Prime. No lifecraft had been provided as the Titanica had been declared indestructible. By the time rescuers arrived on the scene none aboard the Titanica had survived.
Luxury Liners Corp, builders and owners of the Titanica, were not available for comment.

Titanica Disaster Not Forgotten

Luxury space liner ESS Titanica 2 was launched today amid the greatest celebrations of the decade. In the words of President PW Bush, “We have shown once again that we possess that human spirit which can overcome the tragedies of our history by simply ignoring them.”
The disaster of 3 years ago in which 351 people lost their lives has not been forgotten and berths aboard the Titanica 2 were sold at cut-rate prices. Despite this a number of luminaries are making the maiden voyage from Earth to Alpha Centauri Prime.
Captain Jeremy Cook has indicated a desire to honour those who perished in the Titanica disaster by making a fly-by of the wreck.
